This version of the Schema Editor supports the following platforms: * Windows 11; Windows Server 2016, 2019, 2022, 2025 * macOS 13, 14, 15 (Universal Binary – Intel and ARM support) * RHEL 8, 9, 10; RHEL 8, 9, 10 (ARM); SLES 15; Debian 11, 12, 13; Ubuntu 22.04, 24.04; Amazon Linux 2023 (ARM) 4.4.8 ======================================================================== Released 2025-11-28 Enhancements & New Features * [MDBO-1012][MDBO-1019][MDBO-1032] Updated third-party libraries The editor now uses the following third-party libraries: - Expat 2.7.3 (previously 2.7.1) - OpenSSL 3.0.18 (previously 3.0.16) - Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 8u472 (previously 8u452) * [MDBO-1031] Updated platform support The editor now supports the following platform versions: - Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) 8 ARM - Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) 9 ARM - Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) 10 - Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® (RHEL) 10 ARM - Debian 13 - Amazon Linux 2023 ARM Known Issues The following are known issues that you may encounter due to limitations in the data source, the editor, or an application. * The application is not supported on AIX. You cannot use the Schema Editor on AIX machines. When using the AIX version of the Simba MongoDB ODBC Connector, you must connect using a temporary schema definition that is generated during connection time or a persistent schema definition that was created on another platform. * Table properties cannot be modified through the main pane of the Design View. To rename or hide a table, right-click the table in the left pane and then use the options in the menu that opens. * The Delete Column button appears to be available for columns that cannot be deleted. When you select a column that has the User Generated Column property is set to false, the Delete Column button becomes available even though only user-generated columns can be deleted. Clicking the button does not delete the column. * The application cannot return to the start page. To return to the start page from another screen in the Schema Editor, you must restart the application. * The JSON filter cannot be updated in the Sample View. In the Sample View, after specifying a JSON filter and sampling the data, you cannot change the filter and update the sample. To re-sample the data with a different JSON filter, restart the application.
